SUN-FIX AQUA Epoxy Repair Putty – Product Update

The formulation of SUN-FIX AQUA Epoxy Repair Putty has been updated as part of ongoing R&D activities. Certain technical parameters have been revised, and the product colour has been changed to white in line with the new formulation. The application time has been optimised to provide greater control during use. While its curing behaviour has been retained, its mechanical load-bearing performance has been defined more precisely. Key performance parameters, including adhesion strength, underwater performance and surface hardness, have been improved and updated with reference to international standards (DIN EN ISO). The application and curing temperature ranges have also been clarified to deliver more predictable results in field applications.

Apolo MEA Transitions to the CELO Brand

For many years, we have sold fastening products manufactured by the German company Apolo MEA Befestigungssysteme GmbH under the Apolo MEA brand. The company has now rebranded as CELO Befestigungssysteme GmbH. This change concerns the company name only; its legal form, managing directors and address remain unchanged.

The CELO Group employs approximately 360 people across 17 countries worldwide. It operates four manufacturing companies in Germany, Spain, China and the United States and supplies its products to more than 80 countries. CELO Befestigungssysteme GmbH remains committed to its Aichach site in Germany, from which innovative fastening systems have been launched in recent years. In view of the company’s positive business development, further investment is planned at the Aichach facilities.
